Nataliia is a marketing communications entrepreneur who founded her first agency in 1998. Before that, she worked on creating and developing one of the first independent radio stations in Ukraine. In 2005, Newsfront Communication was founded. Until 2012, the agency operated under the Starget PR Agency brand as part of a communications holding, where Nataliia served as CEO for some time.
As Nataliia's entrepreneurial ventures flourished, she expanded her horizons beyond marketing services. She began investing in a diverse range of companies, primarily in the technology sector. To effectively manage this portfolio and explore new opportunities, she founded Detonate Ventures, a venture capital company where she continues to serve as a managing partner. Her investments span various sectors, including MarTech, MedTech, cybersecurity, and education. Nataliia's influence in the venture capital market extends to her role as a co-founder and chairman of the board of the Ukrainian business angel community, Uangel.
She authorises the Basics of Angel Investing and Entrepreneurial Leadership courses. She was a guest lecturer at the IAE Aix Graduate School of Management in France.
Nataliia's commitment to continuous learning is evident in her academic achievements. She holds a Master's degree in journalism from Dnipro National University (1997). Her pursuit of knowledge continued with an Executive MBA in 2011 and a certificate from the Board Direction program at the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy in 2019.
She studied various Executive Education programs, including Venture Capital for Executives at HAAS Business School, UC Berkeley, Strategic Portfolio Investment at London Business School, and Customer-Centric Marketing and HR at Kellog-Recanati Business School, Tel Aviv University.
Volodymyr has over 23 years of experience in communications and management.
Since 2010, the CEO and partner of Newsfront Communications have previously held management positions in communication agencies, NGOs, and government bodies.
Volodymyr is an experienced PR strategist, coach and teacher. Conducted dozens of media trainings and strategic sessions for agency clients, created an author's course on building a personal brand, and is a frequent lecturer and speaker at professional and industry events and conferences.
Since 2016, he has also been a business coach with his practice. He is a certified facilitator of strategic sessions and the co-author of the leadership program for commanders of the tactical unit in the Territorial Defence Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From February 2022 to February 2024, he served in the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the rank of junior sergeant, a participant in hostilities (Kharkiv region, 2022), and later - a communicator of the Command of the Territorial Defence Forces. Among the tasks is developing and implementing communication campaigns to support recruiting, training, and fundraising in the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since February 2024, he has been serving in the unit of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Lecturer at the Kyiv School of Economics (course "Strategic Communications" in the public policy and governance program, 2023), Military Academy in Warsaw (course "Crisis Communications in Public Administration", 2023).
By his first education, Volodymyr was a translator and teacher of English (Lviv National University named after I.Frank). He confirmed his professional qualification at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations program (certified trainer in public relations), studied management at the Swedish Institute Management Program and studied military battle planning at the Land Warfare Center in Great Britain. Since 2022, he has been a student of the Ukrainian Gestalt Institute.
Viktoriia has nearly 10 years of experience in communications for the commercial, government and community sectors. She began her career in the press office of the Department of Education of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, where she worked as an announcer of events and scientific programs. Later, for several years, Viktoriia provided internal communications and promotion of Internews Ukraine, one of the largest NGOs in Ukraine. She cooperated with the EU Delegation to Ukraine, USAID, Internews, and other grant providers.
At Newsfront, she is responsible for client engagement, strategic consulting and team development. Viktoriia has extensive experience creating an employer brand for IT companies and has collaborated with Ukrainian and international service and product companies and startups. During her career in the agency, she adjusted press offices' work, providing PR support for large-scale events in various cities of Ukraine and Europe. Viktoriia is a speaker at Ukrainian and international industry events. A political scientist by education, she is a lecturer on copywriting and media relations courses and the author of columns on management in communications and the PR market in Ukraine.
